Speaking Engagements & Trainings
Training for Academic Teams
Supporting families and educators in public school districts, public charter schools, and private schools.
Emily has experience working in a variety of settings, exploring and evaluating accommodation and modification options, and partnering with families and schools across a vast number of program designs. She loves to share about multi-sensory methodologies, trauma-informed classroom care, inclusive education for learners of all needs, building a culture of literacy (at home or in school), and parent support.
Trainings for Churches & Volunteers
Assisting churches and organizations to increase their accessibility and inclusion for all those in their community.
Emily enjoys sharing how all people are fearfully and wonderfully made and finding a way to create spaces for all to worship and fellowship. Finding ways to increase religious access for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, at any age, and while also training volunteers and staff to meet the needs that often make being part of church communities and worship difficult for those with disabilities is something Emily has a continually growing passion for.
